Cricket world cup 2019 Fixtures/ Schedule/ Time Table:

The cricket world cup 2019 fixtures were declared on 26th of April in 2018 after the meeting in Kolkata ICC.

When the fixtures were declared, London Stadium was not a part of the list of venues. The London Stadium was said to be as a potential venue initially when the committee was still planning for the world cup but in January of year 2017, the ICC completed a ground inspection, only to approve that the pitch dimensions were complaisant with the host ODI matches standards. The framework for the tournament shall be a one group which has ten teams, with each team going to play the other nine teams, and the four teams on the top will be later in going into a knockout stage of semi-finals and a final match. The ten team world cup has gathered disapproval because of the nonappearance of Associate teams in this version of world cup.

With the presence of Ireland and Afghanistan in the month of June in 2017, the numbers have gone up of the Test playing nations to 12 from 10 countries. This is going to be the first World Cup where the tournament will be without all of the Test playing countries participation. Upon qualifying to play the world cup, after the dismissal of all the Associate teams, this will be also mark the first time where no Associate members will be playing in the World Cup.
